"Until recently, Protestant-inspired literature on the Inquisition tended to be hostile to the Catholic Church per se, while Catholic literature tended to be narrowly apologetic and justificatory."[2] For Protestant scholars of the nineteenth century such as William H. Prescott and John Lothrop Motley the Spanish Inquisition represented "the archsymbol of religious intolerance and ecclesiastical power".[3] Henry Charles Lea wrote both A History of the Inquisition of the Middle Ages (1888) and A History of the Inquisition of Spain (1906). A History of the Inquisition of Spain was considered both groundbreaking and polemical. His studies were criticized for having both an anti-Catholic[4] and an anti-Spanish bias. Lea saw the Inquisition as theocratic absolutism that weakened Spain to an extent that undermined its overseas empire and ultimately contributed to its defeat during the Spanish–American War of 1898.[3] However both Juan Antonio Llorente's in his Histoire critique de l'Inquisition espagnole (1817) and Lea had access to original documents.

Even though the inquisitions in Spain prosecuted a small quantity of Reformers, the Roman inquisitions were the first to target intentionally and specifically the "heresy" of Protestantism. These inquisitions and their subordinate tribunals were generally successful in keeping any substantial Protestant influence from spreading throughout Italy.[35] Protestants in the decades and centuries to come would use this relatively short-lived persecution as the basis for their accusations about the awful "Inquisition." Protestant movements were reduced by around 1600, so for the duration of the 17th century the Roman inquisitions turned their focus to offences other than Protestantism, notably "magical" heresy.[36]
The modern day notion of a unified and horrible "Inquisition" is an assemblage of the "body of legends and myths which, between the sixteenth and the twentieth centuries, established the perceived character of inquisitorial tribunals and influenced all ensuing efforts to recover their historical reality".[40] "The [assembled] myth was originally devised to serve variously the political purposes of a number of early modern political regimes, as well as Protestant Reformers, proponents of religious and civil toleration, philosophical enemies of the civil power of organized religions, and progressive modernists..."[41] It was the relatively limited persecution of Protestants, mostly by the inquisitions in Spain and Italy, that provoked the first image of "The Inquisition" as the most violent and suppressive vehicle of the Church against Protestantism. Later, philosophical critics of religious persecution and the Catholic Church only furthered this image during the Enlightenment.[40]

Despues El problema empezo con la subida de peso no he logrado controlarlo a pesar de cuidar mi alimentacion he subido 12 kilos,tengo problemas digestivos con una barriga como embarazada?mucho cansancio,agotamiento,dolores en las articulaciones y hay momentos en que siento que no puedo mas,estoy tomando tibolona,calcio y en tratamiento para colitis y gastritis.Antes de la operacion no me sentia tan mal,tengo dos hijos de 12 y 20 años,ellos se preocupan mucho pues siempre he sido activa,aun trabajo y quiero hacer mi vida normal,salir con mis amigos y mi familia y estos malestares me limitan mucho.

Gracias a Dios, luego de la operación nunca tuve un síntoma de los que se deberían tener. Nunca tuve sofocos, ni dolores, ni molestias. Viví hasta hoy una vida absolutamente normal Gracias a Dios. Yo soy cristiana, y siempre confie en que El me iba a ayudar y así ha sido. Dos años después de mi operación, adopté una hija que hoy tiene 26 años y me ha dado dos nietos. Todo se puede!!! Hay que tener fe!!!. Quiero alentar a aquellas mujeres que tengan que pasar por esa situación a que además de confiar en su médico, confien en Dios que es quien te arregla tu cabeza y tu cuerpo para que tengas una vida feliz y saludable!!!

A los 35. Fue la peor noticia que recibí en plena operación…. ya que sólo me iban a sacar un mioma pero me hicieron una histerectomía total. Nadie sabe cuánto dolor causó en mi vida. Todavía estoy con psicóloga, porque nadie te advierte que una operación puede cambiarte tu vida por completo. Aunque te digan que el mioma era muy grande, que tu útero estaba aplastado y que tenías quistes; nadie tiene derecho a no informarte o que no te saquen nada, que te suturen o que te hablen, no que te lo hagan callados como si la persona, aunque no pueda hablar por el oxigeno, no estuviera escuchando la cirugía! Ya nada puedo hacer. Es lo peor que tengo que afrontar!!!
En cambio, si dirigimos energía psíquica a un objeto inerte o a un ser vivo, estos se impregnarán de esta energía, produciéndose modificaciones a nivel profundo, acumulándose esta energía, y permitiendo transferirla por contacto a otros seres o elementos. Esta es una energía con un grado como de consciencia, o inteligencia, que sigue los mandatos de la voluntad que las formó.

A pesar de que el banal y excesivo uso de esta palabra, en labios de místicos, contactados, visionarios e iluminados de todos los tiempos, haya terminado por erosionar hasta eliminar el significado del concepto amor. Y aún a riesgo de sonar ñoño, obsoleto, cursi y caduco, lo cierto es que ese concepto, que ni los poetas más sublimes han conseguido definir, es capaz de activar capacidades y poderes insólitos en nuestra mente.
